Sophie Turner grew up in southern Australia as the youngest of four children, immersed in a family that practiced the importance of traditional morals and values. Raised under very strict conditions, Sophie focused her early years solely on her education. After graduating high school in the top 0.02 % of the country, Sophie was accepted into one of the most prestigious law schools in Australia, the Flinders University School of Law.

Shortly after commencing law school, Ms. Turner’s world was jolted when she was scouted for the Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World competition, by Ford Models representatives visiting Australia. Within a flash, Sophie set fire to Australian television when she starred in Search for a Supermodel, the reality TV series surrounding the contest, which aired on Australia’s Network Ten in 2001. Being immediately dubbed as the crowd favorite and controversial star, the bubbly young teenager competed with thousands of Australian beauties for the coveted prize – a $250,000 modeling contract. Sophie’s confidence, charisma and crowd-pleasing antics led her directly to victory, when she won the prized ticket into the famed Ford Models Agency in New York.

Nicknamed ‘The Saucy Aussie’, Turner graced runways all over the planet from Japan to the United States and throughout Europe, working for such brands as Bill Blass, Nicole Miller, Collette Dinnigan and Rene Rofe, to name just a few. With her poise, attitude and sexy strut, she quickly earned high admiration in the fashion world. It wasn’t long before Turner’s modeling success swelled into the commercial, swimsuit and glamour print arenas. In 2010, after appearing on Sports Illustrated.com and Maxim.com concurrently, Sophie Turner quickly became the 9th largest Google trend in the world. The following day she was caught in a celebrity battle of the derrieres with Kim Kardashian, and was immediately catapulted to the position of 2nd most popular Google search term.
