Kate Walsh Biography and Photos

Kate Walsh was born as Kathleen Erin Walsh on October 13, 1967 to Irish, Roman Catholic parents in San Jose California. She was an ordinary lady working at Burger King when she entered the world of glamour as a model in the early 1980s in Japan. She later did a few plays as well.

She is a famous American television and film actress who is eminent for her role in the widely loved hospital-drama series Grey’s Anatomy where she played Dr.Addison Montgomery. She also starred in the famous television series Private Practice which is interlinked with Grey’s Anatomy.

She added to the fashion industry by launching her label Boyfriend LLC in 2010. The company’s first fragrance ‘Boyfriend’ exceeded all sales expectations and was a great hit.

Kate married Alex Young, a movie executive, on September 1, 2007 in Los Angeles. Unfortunately after 15 months of marriage their relationship was suffering and her husband filed for divorce. On February 5, 2010 their divorce was finalized.

Kate had appeared with her Grey’s Anatomy co-star Sandra Oh in the movie Under The Tuscan Sun where they played lesbian partners.

Kate is an active social and political activist and currently lives in Los Angeles California.
